May Amparo Hanson was born the second daughter of Ben and Maria (Fernandez) Hanson on 10/25/67. She married Richard Edward Ashley on 1-26-85. Children are:

Steven Ray Ashley Born 6-17-88
In July, 2002, Richard Edward Ashley was killed when the small plane he was in had engine trouble and crashed in North Carolina. He was with two other law enforcement people, who were also killed. May's Uncle Duane attended the funeral and describes it thusly.
